In a highly regulated and competitive medical environment, accelerating product through the development cycle is critical. Familiarity with techniques that speed up the design process can help manufacturers increase profit by beating the competition to market and extending the product's life cycle. Strong multidisciplinary teams, rapid prototyping, and tooling trick are considered to be successful with both product quality and fast time to market.
