Steam system management can be accomplished using a package called Steam System Programming or SSP. SSP provides an efficient way to prepare an on-line steam balance of the utility system in refineries, petrochemical complexes and similar process plants. Current data showing where steam is being generated and used are available for operating and management decisions.
