摘要
The Instrument Landing System (ILS) is pilot-oriented, and is designed to provide electronic instrument guidance to pilots to permit exact alignment and glide angle of properly equipped aircraft on final approach for landing. The ILS consists of a localizer, glide path and marker beacons. ILS performance is degraded inherently by obstacles such as buildings, dips and rises in terrain in and around an airport. This paper describes an analysis of course bends caused by the obstacles and examples improved by an application of the modified glide path antenna and localizer antenna.
