Quantum coherence manifestation during recombination of ion-radical pairs with equivalent nuclei in weak magnetic fields

The magnetic effect behaviour in weak fields is studied for ion-radical pairs with equivalent nuclei generated under the action of ionizing radiation in nonpolar solvents. The additional possibilities of short-lived radicals identification using MARY spectra (the dependence of reaction product yield on external magnetic field) are experimentally demonstrated. The information content of the magnetic field experiments is shown to be similar to that of spectral methods.
