New packaged cogeneration line

A new line of packaged cogeneration units featuring a sophisticated monitoring and control system has been introduced by Babcock & Wilcox Power Generation Group. Once completely designed and developed, the company's 'Cogenpak' product line will include packaged units having electrical output ratings of 65, 100, 150 and 200 kW, and thermal output ratings of about 420, 740, 930 and 1370 MJ/h, respectively. Typical applications for the Cogenpak units are expected to include prospects for cogeneration in the commercial and small-scale institutional markets, including hotels and motels, resorts, health clubs and hospitals.
