摘要
The expressions relating the change in fluid stream velocity to changes in fluid viscosity for an axisymmetric system are derived. Similarly, the relationship between the change in flowtime for a unit volume and change in fluid viscosity is explored. These expression are then evaluated for a set of parameters typical of an inkjet system. It is found that dv/dμ, dt/dμ, (1/v)dv/dμ, and (1/t)dt/dμ are slowly varying functions of viscosity (μ) over the range of interest. Therefore, they can be considered constant, and used to determine the relationship between stream velocity (or flowtime) and ink composition in an inkjet printer, once the behavior between fluid composition and fluid viscosity is known.
