Rock-Tenn Company is forming a joint venture with Lafarge Corporation, a major US construction materials supplier, to produce gypsum paperboard liner. The joint venture, called Seven Hills Paperboard LLC, will own and operate a paperboard mill with an annual capacity of 75,000 tons at Rock-Tenn's manufacturing site in Lynchburg, VA. Full-scale production is expected to begin in the second half of 2001.
