摘要
The drawbacks of traditional interpolation algorithms when using them to process oceanographic data in frontal oceanic zones and at nonhomogeneous density of data coverage are pointed out. An interpolation algorithm is proposed which was used to process the data of in situ observations in the Newfoundland energy active zone. Versatility, universal nature, simplicity of realization of interpolation algorithm are demonstrated. As contrasted to the common approaches this algorithm takes into account the specific features and space time nonhomogeneity of initial data, makes it possible to use different methods to assign weight functions and their combinations. The error of interpolation in the frontal zone is lower than in calculations by the traditional method.
