摘要
The layout and length of the load-carrying lubricating layer in the working clearance are considered as a means to vary the properties of hydrodynamic bearings. A comparative analysis of static and dynamic characteristics of bearings of different types is presented. Advantages of asymmetrical-type bearings, compared with bearings of conventional design, are pointed out.
