摘要
It is demonstrated that the relationship between the detection threshold and the area of light stimulus (which is called the area-threshold relationship) can be explained by total activity of Y cells. The receptive field density of human retinal Y cells is estimated. Simulation of a model was performed using a parallel processing computer.
