Distribution of maximum electron concentration sums of the sporadic ionospheric E-layer

摘要：
The problems are considered of summation of independent filtered values of maximum electron concentration of the middle latitude sporadic E-layer. It is shown that in these problems, the Cauchy probability distribution may be used for different terms in a sum and for the total sum if summands number k < 300. The limitation k < 300 is not very strong.
