摘要
A method of rf glow discharge deposition of amorphous silicon thin films has been described. Electrical and optical properties of these films as well as use of doping for preparation of p-n junctions have been presented. A critical survey of basic types of amorphous silicon solar cells is included. Application possibilities of amorphous silicon for solar energy conversion have been analyzed.
