Duplex-process of 'cold blast cupola - arc furnace' enables to produce cast iron of high quality by using complex modifying with Te-Bi master alloy to reduce a negative effect of chromium increased amount, inherent in steel scrap. The fittings with cut thread and milling balls are goods. The milling balls, made of white iron cast into sandy-argillaceous molds, have heterogeneous structure across the full section and consequently, high wear resistance, low level of residual stresses and high impact resistance.
