摘要
Recently, the requirements for precision positioning in such fields are machining, assembling, and inspecting of small electronic parts have been increasing. Likewise, the applications of cartesian coordinates positioning units have also increased, to realize factory automation. To achieve this wide range of applications, three types of units for precision positioning have been developed: basic, arm, and gate. Additionally, electronic part mounters based on these three types have been completed. The features of these units are that they are easy to operate and come in various sizes to meet design requirements. This paper introduces and explains these units.
