WORLD ELECTRICITY PRICES FALL.

The dramatic fall in oil prices, which took place last year, is still affecting the cost of electricity worldwide. National Utility Services' annual survey of international electricity costs shows that prices have generally fallen or remained stable and future rises are likely to remain in line with or below the rate of inflation. Nine of the 11 countries surveyed showed average price reductions, the only two exceptions being Australia and West Germany. The survey uses data drawn from prices paid by NUS clients at over 750,000 business premises worldwide.
