The aim of the paper is to consider the control problems for the stationary equations of the magnetic hydrodynamics (MHD). In particular, establishing the sufficient conditions for the initial data, ensuring the global solvability of the MHD equations, is analyzed. Then the control problems are considered, the solvability theorems are formulated and the optimality system is developed both for arbitrary, and for particular quality functionals.
