The prime task of the repair services in machine building organizations is to ensure that the main production stock, machines and equipment in particular, is kept in full working order. The level of organization and the technical equipment provided for repair work is much lower than the corresponding level of main production operation. As a result of the disproportionate development of basic production and repair work, inadmissibly high costs are incurred for the repair, modernization and technical servicing of equipment.
