摘要
The author describes the operating procedures at the Tamabra reservoir of the Poza Rica oil field, Mexico, which has been subjected to secondary recovery with waterflooding since 1951. Also analyzed are the present and future production conditions when the daily volume of waterflood goes up to 500,000 bbls. Based on this analysis, the drilling of 53 intermediate development wells and the major workover of 85 wells were proposed, which are expected to result in an output on the order of 40,000 b/d of oil.
