摘要
This article provides a survey of polishing plant and working processes for the treatment of aluminum workpieces. Besides the older barrel polishing equipment, shakers, rotating shakers, and continuous-flow long-trough plants are nowadays in common use. Various operations, such as degreasing, deburring, grinding, burnishing or pickling can be carried out, one after another or in combination, on aluminum workpieces. Many examples illustrating the different processes and the effects of individual parameters are provided.
