摘要
This paper describes the electrical features of the two sets of static starters for starting six sets of 220 MVA/214 MW generator/motor's in the motor direction at Okuyoshino Pumped-Storage Power Plant. The static starter comprises rectifier and inverter. Emphasis is placed on the voltage and current coordination of thyristor valves, starting and control methods of the system, and thyristor valve protection. Test results at the works are shown.
