Part 2 of this article on LNG storage safety discusses several storage and protective solutions that have been proven in service and that provide safety for LNG storage facilities. Basic container components are considered and then a safety assessment is presented, based on existing LNG-Storage designs and design comparisons. The various LNG-Storage systems for which charts of vapor travel and thermal radiation were presented in Part 1 are illustrated in this concluding part.
