摘要
The effect of an initial slant of the streams is considered on the integral characteristics of the MHD generator, particularly its integral power as well as the flow pattern in the channel and manifestations of the end effect. The results of numerical two-dimensional calculations are discussed pertaining to supersonic MHD flow of a nonviscous and thermally nonconducting gas with various slant angles at the channel entrance varying within plus or minus 6 degree . Two kinds of rectangular channels of a uniform cross section are considered, a channel with a pair of solid electrodes and an ideally segmented one.
