摘要
The objective is to generate tool paths for arbitrary shaped pockets automatically. Curve offsetting based on Voronoi diagrams can avoid the topological problems encountered in the traditional offsetting algorithms. The paper proposes a simple efficient algorithm using Voronoi diagram-based tool path to generate machining arbitrary shaped pockets with island in it.
