These investigations have shown the possibility of electrodeposition of chromium-molybdenum from fluoride and siliconfluoride electrolytes. Combining with the anion (F** minus ) the molybdate ion reduces the limiting current of the reaction of incomplete reduction and influences the cathodic film which regulates electrodeposition.
