摘要：
This study investigates some of the possibilities that are currently being explored to make further use of aluminium alloys in the automotive industries and the influences that it is having on some other industrial sectors. Development of new materials is playing its part in stimulating greater interest in aluminium alloys for use in automotive applications. Much of the work in the adhesively bonded vehicle structures is well under way in the Aluminium Structured Vehicle Technology (ASVT) project currently being undertaken jointly by Alcan and BL Technology.
