摘要
The ammonia/water absorption unit is comprised of components typical of absorption system; a generator, condenser, evaporator, and absorber. The design was optimized for compactness, high thermal efficiency, and low fabrication cost. THis paper describes the analytical work performed prior to the design of a three-ton capacity prototype unit. The projected thermal efficiency, energy efficiency ratio and cost are presented.
