The application of condensate treatment plants for conventional and nuclear power plants has undergone in the last few years a continuous evolution to meet the increasingly severe requirements of steam generator suppliers for feedwater quality. The choice of the condensate cycle points where filter-demineralizer plants have to be inserted alone or in combination with mixed-bed exchangers as discussed.
