摘要
In 1985, Oberland Glas AG decided to install the latest Emhart Glass machine development, the rotating individual section (RIS) machine. By way of explanation, RIS is the abbreviation for Rotary Individual Section machine. The system consists of a single blank mould and the conventional method of ware transfer by neck ring to one of the two blow moulds mounted on a rotary table. The take-out, deadplate and sweep-out onto the machine conveyor are all standard system components. The RIS machine was planned as a production tool to create markets in fields where alternative materials were employed for a majority of packaging applications.
