High dynamic-range, self-tuned Gm-C filter for video-range applications

摘要
A 10-MHz, sixth-order elliptic filter is realized by maximum dynamic range biquads composed of very low-distortion transconductors. Based on precise simulations, THD of transconductors is lower than -70dB at 10-MHz for 3 VPP input voltage. For tuning of this filter, an on-chip frequency tuning system is used and also a new Q tuning method based on compensation of transconductors phase shift by variable output resistance of transconductors. All circuits are aimed to be fabricated on a standard 2μ CMOS process using single 5v supply.
