摘要
A compact stereoscopic display using active-matrix LCD panels is proposed. Because of its small size and light weight, it can be easily attached to the head of the observer. Effects of various parameters of this stereoscopic display on depth perception and its design condition are discussed. The display made as a trial is insufficient in resolution at present, but it confirms the ability to obtain stereoscopic images. This display has a probability to be applied to an effective three-dimensional display using sensing of observer position.
