摘要
Specimens of Al-Si alloy castings were subjected to fracture toughness tests and loading tests to determine the effects of antimony and rare earth additions on their mechanical and structural behavior. The results show that antimony additions in proper amounts contribute to the formation of a finer grain structure and provide improved fracture toughness and superior other mechanical properties.
