摘要：
The differences between direct humidification sections with adiabatic and polytropic humidification are dealt with and measuring results given, with polytropic cooling and polytropic heating, of the humidification degree, attainable enthalpy change of the air, pressure reduction in the fan and electrical power input for water spraying. The polytropic tests were carried out on a direct humidification section with a nominal air throughput of 25,000 m**3/hr.
