Computation of Electromagnetic Field in Thin Films by the Method of Natural Coordinates of the Field.

Computing of potential fields in thin films, distribution of eddy currents in conductors with high skin effect, magnetic fields in thin magnetic screens, and similar problems of power engineering can be simplified if natural, e. i. curvilinear orthogonal coordinates of the field are known where vectors of electric and magnetic field intensities have only one component. The paper proposes the method of determination of these coordinates and their application to computing electromagnetic fields.
