Analytical investigation is presented of magnetic separation in a binary system consisting of a paramagnetic dispersed material and a viscous liquid in a pseudohomogeneous approximation which enables one to calculate the trajectories of particles, and also the concentration distribution. The inertia of the particles is disregarded.
