摘要
The mechanism of secondary arc extinction by high speed grounding switches (HSGS) is analyzed. The magnitude of the secondary arc current in arc path and that of the recovery voltage after are differently reduced by SGS, which in turn reducing the extinction time of the secondary arc and assuring successful single-pole autoreclosure. The approach is also verified by the transient network analyzer (TNA) test and the calculation of electro magnetic transient program (EMTP).
