摘要
A blue color continuous oscillation laser developed for use as a component to be incorporated in various types of laser application equipment which do not require a very large output power is expected to find uses in the fields of facsimile, data storage and recording, holography, light scattering, spectroscopy, graphic arts, biological and medical applications, etc. This laser incorporates a newly developed internal-mirror type air-cooled argon-ion laser tube which simplifies the construction of the laser head and eliminates the requirement of adjustment and maintenance. The life of the discharge tube is greatly extended thanks to the use of beryllia ceramic as the capillary material. The power source is of the transformerless type. The dc output is stabilized through transistor control.
