Experience with a lease contract

The idea was born in the consumer goods shop at the Dnepropetrovsk Metallurgical Plant. On May 15, 1989, a lease agreement that is to run for 2 years was agreed upon between the administration of the plant and the shop collective. Now the shop independently solves problems related to planning, financial incentives, distribution of the contents of pay funds, and allocation of resources to modernization and social welfare funds in accordance with the income earned. Proceeding on the basis of the facilities already in place, the shop decided to strive for a total output of consumer goods with a value of 1,984,300 rubles. The latter amount includes government orders.
