摘要
At the present time, the main in-band signaling system in the British Post Office (B. P. O. ) national trunk network is Signaling System Alternating Current (S. S. A. C. ) No. 9. The B. P. O. has developed a miniaturized version of this signaling system which increases the packing density and mean-time-between-failures while reducing the power consumed. This article describes the technology and circuitry of the miniaturized S. S. A. C. No. 9 equipment and also its physical realization.
