摘要
New electromagnetic single-disc clutches and brakes, which are suitable for dry and wet operation and offer favorable dimensions, are being used on the main and feed drives of a wide range of machine tools. Reference is made to the principal criteria for their application and size and a comparison is made with multiple-disc clutches.
