Assessment of two phase critical flow models of RELAP5/MOD2 and CATHARE code

摘要
Two-phase critical flow models of two codes were analyzed and assessed. Under upstream low subcooling or low quality conditions, the critical mass flow is under predicted by RELAP5/MOD2 code and it can not reflect the influence of geometry L/D on critical flow. The critical flow model in CATHARE code is more sophisticated, and the calculated critical mass flow agrees well with experimental data.
