The amplifier design developed in this article using a pair of vertical MOSFETs in a push-pull configuration can run in either Class B (for linear amplification) or Class D (for high-efficiency amplification) configurations. Broadband coupling allows operation over the 1. 8 to 54 MHz range with an output of up to 16w.
