LUMINESCENCE DURING THE FORMATION OF ANODIC OXIDE FILMS ON BERYLLIUM.

The authors report results obtained when studying the luminescence attending the growth of barrier-type oxide on DV-brand beryllium in the electrolyte. On the basis of the experimental data obtained, one can characterize the luminescence of the anodic oxides of beryllium during oxide growth as prebreakdown electroluminescence, just as for instance in the case of electrochemical anodization of aluminum.
