The authors deal with a number of topics dealing with the pressure rise in metal-enclosed sulfur hexafluoride enclosed high voltage switchgear. Topics include evaluation of test results, principal parameters, pressure rise predictions, pressure relief devices, and development and application of a new statistical procedure.
