Calculations are shown for the amplitude of elastic longitudinal cylindrical waves excited by an alternating current around a loop in ferromagnetic bars in a constant magnetic field of intensity H//o. The long-wave extreme case k//1 alpha VM LS TH 1, with k//1 denoting the wave vector of the lowest-order wave mode and alpha denoting the radius of the bar, is examined in more detail. Analyzed is also the interaction of various factors determining the specific field dependence of the amplitude of excited ultrasound.
