摘要
This paper covers the design and the parameters of a pulsed high-current electron accelerator. The accelerator can be operated in the microsecond and nanosecond pulse length ranges. In the nanosecond range, the accelerator generates a 0. 8-Mev beam with a current of 240 kA and a pulse duration of 80 nsec; in the microsecond range, the corresponding parameters are 0. 5 Mev, 10 kA, and 1 mu sec.
