摘要
Structural relaxation behavior of pre-annealed samples over a temperature range from below the glass transition temperature T//g to T//g was investigated calorimetrically for stated amorphous alloys. The endothermic relation is due to short-range rearrangements of metal-metal atoms with weak bonds for the first stage peak and long-range cooperative rearrangements of metal-metalloid atoms for the second stage peak. A mechanism leading to annihilation of frozen-in defects and the development of topological and compositional short-range order is proposed.
