TWO-LINE SYSTEM ELIMINATES COMPUTER SECURITY RISKS.

A new computer security system uses special hardware to provide a super-secure, two-line, supervised-loop, telephone network. The operation of this network defeats methods that have been used to breach other security systems. It gives this protection by preventing any access to the master or host terminal by remote terminals or computers that do not simultaneously and continuously transmit a required coded signal over the second line. The coded signal and the hardware that generates it are, by design, near-impossible to record or derive from monitoring of the second line's transmissions. Even long-term, high-tech analysis can be defeated by frequent and random user unit coding changes. With this approach the terminals or computers of unauthorized computers can dial up and make connection to the leased public telephone line provided for modem communication with the master computer.
