摘要
The pyrolysis of coal in a plasma is one of the important processes studied in plasma chemistry. From studies conducted by various authors it follows that the final products of coal conversion in a plasma may be CO, C//2H//2 and HCN. In the reported experiments, the effect of the material and dimensions of the reaction chamber as well as the coal consumption on the yield of products of pyrolysis of decalcified coal in a stream of low-temperature plasma was studied. In the series of tests the energy of the stream of plasma was shown to have a significant effect on the yield of reaction products, complicating analysis of the resulting data. Changing the design (dimensions) of the reaction chamber led to change in the chemical efficiency of the plasma reactor, which may also significantly affect the process occurring in the reactor. The preliminary results do not yet permit final conclusions.
