A comparison is presented of coaxial lines and waveguides. An attempt is made to find a calculation method and results which agree with measurements of the reflection factor of inhomogeneities in coaxial lines obtained also at frequencies approaching the H//1//1-cutoff frequency of the homogeneous line.
