摘要
A new steady-state stability margin index has been defined on the basis of the Lyapunov function and used for stability studies. The physical significance and effectiveness of the stability margin index have been studied on the basis of the numerical results for model power system. The stability margin index newly developed in this paper has a number of advantages over the conventional one. Results are discussed.
